Request for optimized IFI306 processing (IFI306OPT) ignored
The DB2 ECCR connected to a DB2 Version 7 or earlier system and found that some of the DB2 catalog tables that it uses are not defined with the DATA CAPTURE CHANGES attribute. The preceding message PWXEDM177540W reports that some tables do not have this attribute, and message PWXEDM177398E identifies the tables that are missing the attribute.
The request to use optimized IFI306 processing cannot be honored. The DB2 ECCR requires that the catalog tables have DATA CAPTURE CHANGES attribute to operate properly when using optimized IFI306 processing.
Initialization continues. The ECCR uses standard IF306 processing instead of optimized IF306 processing. As a result, the DB2 ECCR might need more resources.
To use optimized IFI306 processing, define the DATA CAPTURE CHANGES attribute on the catalog tables that do not currently have it.
