A member Logger, logger_jobname
, that is part of the Post-Log Merge process ends. The Post-Log Merge task will continue to merge data from that member Logger until the end of its data is reached. After that time, new data from that member is not merged by the Post-Log Merge task until the member Logger signs back on to the Post-Log Merge task. The signon of a member Logger is indicated by message PWXEDM172141I.

The message text includes the job name of the member Logger (logger_jobname
), the SMF id (smf_id
) of the system on which the member Logger was executing, and the name of the log reader (log_reader_name
) whose status has been changed to recognize that the member Logger is no longer active. The message is issued once for each active log reader that was receiving data merged from that member Logger.

Processing continues.

Investigate the termination of the member Logger. If the termination was expected, such as during a shutdown so that the system could be IPLed, no user action is required. If the termination was unexpected, determine the reason and attempt to restart it. If the problem cannot be determined, or if the member Logger cannot be restarted, contact Informatica Global Customer Support.
