After you run a PowerExchange job that provides a return code, the system logs that return code to an output file or prints it to a device. You can receive standard return codes, common return codes, or component specific return codes.

Some return codes provided by PowerExchange are created by the MVS operating system or another IBM product. For explanations of these return codes, see the appropriate IBM MVS, IMS, VSAM, or DB2 documentation.
