EDM Logger detected an insufficient number of active logs defined in ERDS.
Not enough active log data sets are defined in the restart data set (ERDS) to start logging captured data. This condition usually exists for one of the following reasons:
You have defined fewer than two data sets for one of the active log copy sets.
EDMUPARM specified ACTIVE_LOG_MODE=DUAL in the PowerExchange Logger initialization parameters. However, data sets for two copies of the active log are not defined in the restart data set.
Fewer than two data sets are available (not flagged as STOPPED) for one of the active log copy sets.
The PowerExchange Logger start‑up ends.
Use the logger batch change utility to make the number of active log data sets defined in the restart data set consistent with the parameters specified in EDMUPARM.
The PowerExchange Logger does not reuse log data sets that have the status STOPPED. You must recover these data sets, by either redefining or recovering them from the other copy of the log. In addition to clear the STOPPED status, you must delete the log data sets and add them to the restart data set with the appropriate RBA addresses. To delete and add the log data sets to the restart data sets, use the logger batch change utility.
After correcting the problem, restart the PowerExchange Logger.
