This message is issued when the PowerExchange Logger has received a signon request from a change capture agent (an ECCR),
xcf_member_name
, but cannot process that request immediately. In this case, the signon is deferred and is processed after the PowerExchange Logger is able to do so.
Processing continues.
When the PowerExchange Logger is able to process the request, message PWXEDM172668I is issued to indicate that the signon request has now been processed and a response is sent back to the ECCR.
If the deferred signon request fails, message PWXEDM172669I is issued instead of PWXEDM172668I. The name of the ECCR (
xcf_member_name
), the name of the PowerExchange Logger (
logger_id
), and a description of the reason why the signon had to be deferred temporarily (
reason
) are included in the text of the message. The only current value for reason is “Logger quiesced.” However, the processing in the ECCR is delayed until the PowerExchange Logger is able to process the signon request, and respond back to the ECCR.
Investigate the reason for the delay in processing the signon request by the PowerExchange Logger.
In a Post‑Log Merge environment, one possible cause is that the PowerExchange Logger has entered a quiesced state for Post‑Log Merge. It needs to leave that state (resume normal operations) before it can allow any ECCRs to connect. In this situation, you may need to refer to any messages that might have been issued in the Post‑Log Merge task to determine why the PowerExchange Logger cannot resume normal operations.
