An attempt to read a record from table QSYS/QADBXREF to find a short physical file name from a long table name was not successful. The expected length and data shows what was requested by the caller of the AS4COLS API. The actual read values shows what was actually read. This situation might arise when processing a table name longer than 10 characters, or a table name containing special characters such as pound or yen signs.
The function call request is rejected. The caller has to deal with it, and issue supplementary messages, to elaborate on the error.
