The search field in the PowerExchange data map record cannot be used because the record has no matching field at the specified position. When you create a data map by importing an IMS DBD, PowerExchange creates search fields. The fields in the record can be created by importing an IMS copybook or by manually editing the data map.

Check that the search field is correctly defined. In the PowerExchange Navigator, make sure that the that

Options>Preferences
.
Verify the field offsets for the search field position. Note that offsets numbering starts at 0 while position numbering starts at 1.
Use the PowerExchange Navigator to manually add, delete, or change fields in the data map record so that they match the search field.
