When the PowerExchange Listener was accepting a new work request on one of its ports, a timeout occurred while executing the sockets RECV command to get the first packet.
After a 15 second pause, the incoming work request was rejected and the PowerExchange Listener polls for new work.
This message might be caused by a network problem but more likely might indicate that a packet was received that was smaller than the PowerExchange Listener was expecting from a PowerExchange client. For example:
A client process such as DTLREXE sends a request to a NODE configured for SSL but the PowerExchange Listener was not configured for SLL. Check that the NODE statement in the client PowerExchange configuration file matches the PowerExchange Listener statement in the PowerExchange Listener configuration file. SSL should be present in both or absent in both.
If the PowerExchange Listener received a packet from a non-PowerExchange client, such as a port sniffer.
