This message indicates that the command handler received a file switch request from the user, or a file switch occurred.
In the message text:
  • Records=
    count
. Indicates the number of records processed by the PowerExchange Condense process during file switch processing.
  • Reason=reason. Specifies one of the following values:
    • FILESWITCH request was received
. The command handler received a file switch request from the user.
    • Records criteria met
. A file switch occurred. In the CAPTPARM configuration file or member, the FILE_SWITCH_CRIT statement specified records (R) criteria, and the records criteria value set in the FILE_SWITCH_VAL statement was met.
    • Minutes criteria met
. A file switch occurred. In the CAPTPARM configuration file or member, the FILE_SWITCH_CRIT statement specified minutes (M) criteria, and the minutes criteria value set in the FILE_SWITCH_VAL statement was met.
    • 1st EndUOW after previous file switch
. The previous partial condense file did not end on a unit of work (UOW).
  • Cdcts=
    nn
. Indicates the number of different capture registrations for which PowerExchange captured changes since the last file switch.
  • TotMs=
    mmmmmmmmmm
. Indicates the total CPU time, in milliseconds, that the PowerExchange Condense process used.
  • Diff=
    mmmmmmmmmm
. Indicates the CPU time differential, in milliseconds, between this file switch and the last file switch. Use the difference between the
    TotMs
    and the
    Diff
values to determine if this is the first, or a subsequent, file switch since PowerExchange Condense processing began.
PowerExchange Condense processing continues. File switching makes condense files available to CAPX extractions when running in continuous mode, and is accompanied by PWX-06418 messages that log the specific partial and full condense file names.
