The i5/OS job performed a SQL TRUNCATE operation on the specified DB2 table, which is registered for PowerExchange DB2 for i5/OS CDC. DB2 writes only a single journal entry for the truncation. As a result, PowerExchange CDC has no means of identifying the records that the TRUNCATE operation deleted from the table. Because the ALWCLRPFM=Y parameter is specified in the AS4J CAPI_CONNECTION statement, CDC processing continues. Specify this parameter only if subsequent journal entries for the source table can be handled at the target without damaging data integrity.
CDC processing continues.
Ensure that the target can properly handle subsequent journal entries. If you need assistance, contact your DB2 DBA or Informatica Global Customer Support. Informatica recommends that you do not use a TRUNCATE statement to delete records from i5/OS tables that are registered for CDC.
