Invalid value for Worker Threads (DTLWORKERS) SQL escape sequence: Specified value=
val
, Valid range 0 to
max
In PowerCenter Workflow Manager, a value was specified for the DTLWORKERS SQL escape sequence that is not in the range of valid values. Valid values are 0 through 64.
When you enable offload processing for a PowerExchange Change Data Capture (CDC) or bulk data movement session, you can define the DTLWORKERS SQL escape sequence to specify the number of threads that PowerExchange uses on the Integration Service machine to process data. The escape sequence value overrides the PowerExchange default value of 0.
The session ends.
Enter a value from 1 through 64 in the DTLWORKERS SQL escape sequence to use multithreading. For optimal performance, this value should not exceed the number of installed or available processors on the Integration Service machine. For more information about SQL escape sequences, see the
PowerExchange Reference Manual
.
