The file Open request continues but the file is marked with the "Reg Err" flag in the display of participating files to indicate that it is in error. Because CCERR=ABEND is specified in the EDMSDIR options module, any subsequent CICS tasks that write changes to the file end abnormally during syncpoint processing to avoid potential change data loss.
To determine the cause of the failure, examine the CICS job log, MVS SYSLOG data set, and PowerExchange message log. Then correct the problem. Also, stop the
