This message lists the configuration parameters that were used to define the PowerExchange Logger. The message includes identifying information, such as the USERLIB, LOGGER_TITLE, and the user ID and timestamp when the logger was last updated.
The message displays the following system options that were used to configure the PowerExchange Logger:
  • LOGGER_NAME. The PowerExchange Logger ID.
  • START_TRACE. Y or N to indicate whether the Logger trace is active. For the trace output to be received, the EDMTRACE DD statement must be in the Logger JCL.
  • CHKPT_FREQUENCY. The number of log records to process before taking a checkpoint.
  • TIMER_INTERVAL. Frequency of the Logger internal management operations, such as freeing unused virtual storage or detecting inactive tasks that need to be posted.
  • TIME_CHKPT_FREQ. Frequency of time-based checkpoint records are created in a Post-Log Merge environment. This parameter is used only when running Post-Log Merge.
  • SUFFIX. The unique suffix for a member in a Post-Log Merge group.
The message displays the following archive options that were used to configure the PowerExchange Logger:
  • PREFIX_COPY1. The prefix for the first archive log data set name.
  • PREFIX_COPY2. The prefix for the second archive log data set name.
  • ARCHIVE_RTPD. The number of days to retain the first archive log data set.
  • ARCHIVE_RTPD2. The number of days to retain the second archive log data set. This parameter is used if the interval is different than ARCHIVE_RTPD.
  • ARCHIVE_UNIT. The device type or unit name of the device used to store the archive log data set.
  • ARCHIVE_UNIT2. The device type or unit name of the device used to store the second archive log data set. This parameter is used if the unit is different than ARCHIVE_UNIT.
  • ARC_UNIT_CNT. The number of DASD units to use for archiving.
  • ARCHIVE_STCL. The SMS storage class name of the first archive log data set.
  • ARCHIVE_STCL2. The SMS storage class name of the second archive log data set.
  • ARCHIVE_MGCL. The SMS management class name of the first archive log data set.
  • ARCHIVE_MGCL2. The SMS management class name of the second archive log data set.
  • ARCHIVE_DACL. The SMS data class name of the first archive log data set..
  • ARCHIVE_DACL2. The SMS data class name of the second archive log data set.
  • SPACE_ALLOC. The unit type in which the primary and secondary spaces are allocated.
  • PRIME_SPACE. The primary space allocation for DASD data sets in the unit type specified by SPACE_ALLOC.
  • SEC_SPACE. The secondary space allocation for DASD data sets in the unit type that you specify in SPACE_ALLOC.
  • ARCHIVE_BLKSIZE. The block size of the archive log data set.
The message displays the following logging options that were used to configure the PowerExchange Logger:
  • LOG_INBUF. The number of 4-KB buffers used for reading the active and archive logs.
  • LOG_OUTBUF. The size, in 4-KB buffers, of the output buffer that the PowerExchange Logger uses for writing the active and archive log data sets.
  • ACTIVE_LOG_MODE. Whether the PowerExchange Logger writes to one (SINGLE) or two (DUAL) active log data sets at a time.
  • ARCHIVE_LOG_MODE. Whether the PowerExchange Logger writes to one (SINGLE) or two (DUAL) archive log data sets at a time. The PowerExchange Logger generates archive logs when the active log is off-loaded.
  • ERDS_LOG_MODE. Whether the PowerExchange Logger writes to one (SINGLE) or two (DUAL) restart data sets (ERDS) at a time.
Processing continues.
