In the dbmover configuration file, the CAPI_CONNECTION statements for the specified Oracle instance contain different values for the TYPE parameter. All of the CAPI_CONNECTION statements must specify the same capture type, either ORAD or ORCL.
PowerExchange CDC processing for the Oracle instance ends abnormally.
Edit the dbmover configuration file to specify the same TYPE parameter value in all CAPI_CONNECTION statements for the Oracle database. Enter one of the following values:
  • ORAD, if you use PowerExchange Express CDC for Oracle.
  • ORCL, if you use PowerExchange Oracle CDC with LogMiner.
