00674

Secure connection not accepted
information
.
The request for a secure connection was not accepted. The message information indicates whether the process is a client or server process and whether peer certificates are verified. On machines such as Linux, Unix, Windows, and IBM i machines, information about rejected connections is typically logged under messages such as PWX-31046 and PWX-31070 instead of message PWX-00674.
The task does not start.
To determine the cause of the error, check the following items:
  • On the client, look for messages regarding protocols, ciphers, and certificates. Verify that the protocols, ciphers, certificates are valid.
  • Verify that the NODE statement in the DBMOVER configuration file on the client machine is configured correctly.
  • For a client that connects to an IBM i V7R2 machine, verify that the client uses TLSV1.2.
  • Look for the error code from AT-TLS in the TCP/IP job print file, JESMSGLG, or in the UNIX syslog. For more information about the error code, see the IBM
Cryptographic Services System Secure Sockets Layer Programming Guide
. Then verify the AT-TLS policy rule that controls the port.
