Scaling metadata column precision by
expansion_factor
assuming an ODBC connection code page of
code_page_name
(
number
)
When importing metadata on a table, the connection code page is not known. The system assumes that the ODBC connection code page is the same as the configuration data code page and determines the bytes required at run time to hold CHAR and VARCHAR columns by multiplying by the maximum bytes per character.
This message might be useful if a PWX-07096 truncation message occurs when running a workflow using ODBC.
