Methods of Issuing PowerExchange Logger Commands

Methods of Issuing PowerExchange Logger Commands

Issue the basic PowerExchange Logger commands in either of the following ways:
  • Use the MVS MODIFY (F) command to issue the commands interactively from the MVS operator console or an interface such as SDSF. The PowerExchange Logger must be running when you issue the MODIFY command.
  • Include the commands as part of batch utility jobs for changing PowerExchange Logger configuration or managing log and restart data sets. The PowerExchange Logger must
    not
    be running when these jobs run. The changes take effect when you restart the PowerExchange Logger.
