Testing the PowerExchange Listener Service on Windows

You can test the connection to the PowerExchange Listener service from the Windows Start
menu.

To test the PowerExchange Listener service:

From the Windows Start
menu, click

Start

All Programs

Informatica

PowerExchange

v.r.m

PING PowerExchange Listener

The v.r.m
variable represents the version, release, and modification level of PowerExchange.

If the connection is active, the following information is displayed:

This does a PowerExchange "ping" to the node "node1"
