High-Level Platform Administration Workflow

Administrators in your organization perform the following tasks to enable others to provision data through the Privitar Data Security Platform​:

  1. System administrators install the Privitar Data Security Platform​. This includes deployment of the data agent and data proxy.

  2. An enterprise administrator:

    1. Configures user management through LDAP or an internal registry

    2. Creates one or more data exchanges

  3. Exchange administrators:

    1. Create a data plane

    2. Configure the data plane (data agent and data proxy)

    3. Deploy the data agent and data proxy with a system administrator

    4. Add users and user groups

    5. Assign roles to users and user groups

  4. Exchange administrators perform ongoing administration:

    1. Edit/manage data planes

    2. Assign roles to existing users and groups
