Configuring NOVLT on a Rule
You can use Privitar NOVLT with the following rules:
Regular Expression Text Generator
Regular Expression Number Generator
On the View masking rule page, select Preserve data consistency and check both the Retain NULL values and Tokenize without a vault (use NOVLT) boxes.
Note
All input values must match the regular expression specified in the Regular Expression field.
Warning
Do not change the regular expression of a rule that you have previously used in jobs. Doing so would break consistency with all previously tokenized data. This is true even if you are simply extending the regular expression, for example, changing from [a-z]{1,3} to [a-z]{1,4}.
