Incorrect profile results appear when you run a column profile on a mapping that has a Router transformation followed by a SQL transformation in the workflow.

You create a logical data object on a flat file data source. The logical data object has Sorter or Joiner transformation.
You create and run a column profile on the logical data object.

Exception appears in the Developer tool when the following conditions are true:

You create a column profile on a logical data object.
You add a rule that contains more than 120 input columns.
You run the profile.

The Model Repository Service upgrade fails when the Model repository contains profiles that run on the Hive engine and no Hive connection is available during upgrade.

Sometimes, when you add rules to a column profile on a logical data object, the profile might get corrupted or you might not be able to view the rules in the profile results.

A validation error appears when you replace the data source for a column profile with a similar table that has the same structure but uses a different text case for the columns.
